April 15, 2026 [Knoxville, Tennessee] (WOKI) — Spring in East Tennessee means blooming dogwoods and the return of one of Knoxville’s most beloved traditions: the Dogwood Arts Festival.
Now in its 65th year, the festival will take place April 24-26th, filling World’s Fair Park in Downtown Knoxville with fine art, live music, hands-on activities, and family fun.
Recognized as one of the Top 10 Best Art Festivals in the U.S. by USA TODAY’s 10Best Readers’ Choice poll, this year’s event will showcase 101 juried artists, 23 live performances, a local Maker Market, interactive workshops and demonstrations, and more —all surrounded by the scenic beauty of Downtown Knoxville.

Don’t Miss the Maker Experience: In partnership with The Maker City and KnoxMakers, the festival will include a hands-on area featuring free live demonstrations and a variety of $10 workshops, including stained glass, metal sculpture, oil painting, blacksmithing, crochet, and many more. Activities are available for all ages.
Emerging Maker Tent: The Emerging Maker Tent will open on Sunday, April 26th, featuring 12 up-and-coming artists selling their work for the first time in a professional art fair setting. Enjoy a tasty lineup of local food trucks, craft beer from Cherokee Distributing, and cocktails by Sugarlands Distilling. Families will love the Kids’ Creation Station, sponsored by ORNL Federal Credit Union, with free creative activities just for them throughout the weekend.
