KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WOKI / WVLT) — Knoxville Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing woman who has not been seen for several days.
According to the Knoxville Police Department, 57-year-old Dana Bass was last seen around 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 18, in the 5700 block of Western Avenue in West Knoxville.
Investigators say Bass had been dropped off at that location to pick up her vehicle — a 2002 red Mazda Protege — but she has not been seen or heard from since that time.
Police report that Bass was last seen wearing an EMS Week T-shirt. Her car is described as having a very loud sound due to a missing exhaust and it bears Tennessee license plate 858-B-Q-P-F.
Authorities have not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding her disappearance but efforts to locate her are ongoing.
