Knox County, TN (WOKI / WVLT) – The Knox County Trustee’s Office is preparing to hold its “Tax Sale 25” on Tuesday, offering more than 200 properties with unpaid taxes up for bid.
Officials say tax sales are used as a last resort to collect delinquent property taxes and help return properties to productive use. Trustee Justin Biggs says the process also ensures fairness for taxpayers.
The event will take place at the Grande Event Center on Clinton Highway. Doors open for registration at 8 a.m., with bidding beginning at 10 a.m. Organizers encourage anyone interested in participating to arrive early to allow time to register.
