KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WOKI / WVLT) – The Knoxville Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating the next of kin of a North Knoxville man who recently died.
Detectives are attempting to contact family members of Robert Ely, 64, in order to notify them of his death.
According to KPD, Ely lived in the 1100 block of Armstrong Avenue in North Knoxville.
Investigators said they have exhausted all available leads in an effort to identify and locate surviving relatives but have so far been unsuccessful.
Anyone with information about Ely’s next of kin or family members is asked to contact the Knoxville Police Department at 865-215-7172.
Police say any information that could help them reach Ely’s relatives would be appreciated.
