MARYVILLE, Tenn. (WOKI) – Job seekers in Blount County and surrounding communities will have an opportunity to connect directly with employers and community support organizations during the upcoming Blount County One-Stop Resource and Job Fair on July 21.
Organizers are encouraging residents to attend the event, which will bring together local employers, workforce development partners and resource agencies under one roof to help connect job seekers with available career opportunities.
The event is designed not only to help individuals find work but also to provide access to valuable community resources that can support employment success and career advancement.
Officials with the Blount County American Job Center say the fair serves residents throughout Blount, Loudon and Monroe counties, as well as neighboring communities across East Tennessee.
Employers attending the event will have the opportunity to meet potential candidates, discuss available openings and recruit for a variety of positions. Community organizations and workforce partners will also be on hand to provide information about training programs, career services and other support resources.
Organizers are asking businesses, community groups and residents to help spread the word to job seekers who may benefit from attending.
The Blount County American Job Center says events like the One-Stop Resource and Job Fair play an important role in strengthening the local workforce by connecting people with employment opportunities while helping companies find qualified workers.
