Lenior City, TN (WOKI / WVLT) – Firefighters responded to a commercial fire Thursday morning at the Goodyear Commercial Tire and Service Center in Lenoir City.
According to the Loudon County Sheriff’s Office, crews were dispatched to the facility located at 14506 El Camino Lane, just off Watt Road, after reports of a fire on the property.
Authorities say the main Goodyear building was not involved in the fire. Instead, a service truck caught fire, and the flames spread to a nearby supply of tires.
Emergency responders worked to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading further across the property. No immediate information was released regarding injuries.
Officials have not announced what caused the service truck to catch fire. The investigation remains ongoing as crews continue assessing the scene.
Motorists traveling near the area may encounter emergency vehicles and are encouraged to use caution while firefighters and law enforcement personnel complete their work.
