Woman Found Dead in Hawkins County House Fire

Hawkins County, TN (WOKI / WVLT) – A 75 year-old woman dies in a house fire.

The Hawkins County Sheriff’s Office says the fire happened at a home on Clover Circle in Mooresburg yesterday (Wednesday).

Firefighters with the Lakeview Fire Department found the body of Sandra Carpenter inside the home.

HCSO detectives, along with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, are investigating the cause of the fire.
