Knoxville, TN (WOKI / WVLT) – An investigation is underway following the third motorcycle crash in less than a week, this on another fatality on the same road.
Knoxville Police were called to the latest crash on Clinton Highway at Tillery Drive yesterday morning (Mon).
Based on the preliminary investigation, it is believed the 67 year-old motorcyclist was going south on Clinton Highway while an SUV was going east on Tillery Drive when the SUV started through the intersection once the light turned green when KPD say the motorcyclist allegedly ran the red light and hit the side of the car causing the SUV to hit another car which caused minor damage.
No other injuries were reported.
