TBI: Two New Arrests Made for Helping Quadruple Murder Suspect Austin Drummond

Tiptonville, TN (WVLT / WMC) Two additional people are facing charges for working as accessories to quadruple murder suspect Austin Drummond.

Eric Wise, Jr. and Michell Ovelis are charged with two counts of accessory after the fact. They were booked into Madison County Jail on Tuesday.

Wise and Ovelis mark five people charged with assisting Drummond.

Dearrah Sanders, 23, Tanaka Brown, 29, and Giovonti Thomas, 29, are also charged with alleged accessory after the fact of first-degree murder.

Brown is also charged with one count of tampering with evidence.

Dearrah Sanders was indicted on her charges Tuesday.

Drummond was temporarily on the run before being captured and charged, with the state seeking the death penalty in his case.

The four victims were found dead Tuesday night, July 29, on Carrington Road in Tiptonville, approximately 40 miles away from where a seven-month-old girl was dropped off in a Dyer County yard earlier in the day.

The Dyer County District Attorney’s Office identified the victims as the baby’s father, 21-year-old Matthew Wilson; mother, 20-year-old Adrianna Williams; maternal grandmother, 38-year-old Cortney Rose; and maternal uncle, 15-year-old Braydon Williams.
