Knoxville Police Arrest Three Including Two Juveniles

Knoxville Police say two juveniles are among three people arrested after two loaded guns were found in a stolen car at Walmart.

Officers went to the Walmart on Kinzel Way Sunday night after a man found his father’s car that had been stolen from a home on Ashland Avenue earlier in the day.

Witnesses gave officers a description of who was inside the car and officers arrested a 16-year-old near the front entrance after he tried to run from police and found a second suspect, 19-year-old Jarvon Rucker, who ran out of the store and across the parking lot before being caught at a nearby gas station. The third suspect, a 17-year-old, was found inside the store, and he was taken into custody without issue.

KPD found two loaded handguns and a drum magazine loaded with 40 caliber rounds inside the vehicle.

All three suspects are charged with auto theft and weapon charges. Additionally, Rucker and one of the juveniles were charged with evading arrest.
