Lady Vols Step Into Spotlight At SEC Tipoff ’25

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — The Tennessee Lady Vols made their way to SEC Tipoff ’25 at the Grand Bohemian Hotel Mountain Brook on Wednesday afternoon, making a rotation through a series of television and radio appearances, press conferences, media interviews, social media engagements and photo/video shoots designed to promote each of the women’s basketball programs in the Southeastern Conference.

First-year UT head coach Kim Caldwell, fifth-year guard Jewel Spear and senior Sara Puckett represented the Big Orange, with the trio all appearing live for interviews with SEC Network hosts Courtney Lyle, Steffi Sorensen and Brooke Weisbrod. They also appeared on SiriusXM satellite radio with host Sean Farnham.

The Lady Vols now turn their focus to school and practice the rest of the week and a special event on Friday night, as they join the Tennessee men’s team at Market Square Madness in downtown Knoxville. The fan engagement event for basketball enthusiasts on Rocky Top starts at 7:30 p.m. ET and is free.
