Born and raised in East Tennessee, Phil Williams is one of the most powerful names in Knoxville radio. He’s been on the air for 30 years!  Phil is provocative, witty, and intelligent. His passion and common sense style makes him a talk radio phenomenon.

Winner of Billboard Magazine’s Personality of the Year and a local favorite, Phil has been recognized in polls in both the Knoxville News Sentinel and the MetroPulse. He brings life-changing talk radio to listeners in the East Tennessee area.  He can be heard weekday mornings from 6:00 to 10 a.m. on NewsTalk 98.7, WOKI.

Phil is actively involved in his church and participates in events for various charities, both local and area-wide… He once sat in every seat in Neyland Stadium to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital! Phil enjoys fishing, playing golf, fiddling with his cars, and riding his Harley.
