Rep. McCormick to Newsmax: Dems Reject RFK, Gabbard for Showing GOP Diversity

Rep. Rich McCormick, R-Ga., told Newsmax Tuesday he is hopeful Republicans will confirm Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard to their Cabinet posts.

McCormick, a doctor, noted Kennedy’s skepticism about vaccines but felt the nominee to lead the Department of Health & Human Services defended himself well.

“He has some points to be made,” McCormick said on “National Report.” “I think it’s OK to be skeptical as long as you enforce the law and science and allow people to make their own decisions, which is what I’ve always defended all along. We educate parents and we allow them to make decisions.”
