Quinnipiac Poll: Most Want Rose in Baseball Hall of Fame
A majority of American adults believe Pete Rose should be inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame, according to a poll from Quinnipiac University.
Rose, Major League Baseball’s all-time hits leader, was banned from the sport in 1989 for gambling on games involving the Cincinnati Reds while he served as the team’s manager. The ban included exclusion from Hall of Fame consideration.
Rose died at 83 on Sept. 30.
