Fred Fleitz to Newsmax: Trump Unaware of Ukraine Weapons Curb

Earlier in the week, the Pentagon announced that it had suspended some weapons delivered to Ukraine. Senior fellow at the America First Policy Institute Fred Fleitz told Newsmax on Saturday that President Donald Trump “wasn’t aware” of the decision and is planning to provide additional hardware to Ukraine.

“What I understand is that this decision by the Pentagon to shut off or partially shut off military aid was not coordinated through the rest of the U.S. government,” Fleitz said during an appearance on “Wake Up America Weekend.”

“The State Department didn’t approve of it. The White House wasn’t aware of it.
