Bob Yarbrough


Bob Yarbrough is a 30+ year broadcasting veteran who’s covered east Tennessee news since 1997.  Bob currently hosts “Yarbrough,” a talk show heard weekdays from 10am until noon on  NewsTalk 98.7, WOKI.  He can also be heard anchoring newscasts each weekday afternoon.
Before joining NewsTalk 98.7 in 2015, Bob spent nearly 22 years as an anchor/reporter at WVLT-TV, the CBS affiliate in Knoxville, most of that time as the morning and noon news co-anchor.  Bob was born in Mississippi and attended Mississippi State University.  He currently lives in Knoxville with his two daughters and two golden retrievers.
