NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WOKI / WVLT) — Kenny Chesney is heading back to the nation’s biggest venues with the announcement of his Original Vibe Room Tour 2027, a 19-city stadium tour that will include a historic stop in Nashville.
The Tennessee native revealed Monday that he will return to the road next spring alongside fellow country music stars Eric Church, Sheryl Crow and rising artist Greylan James.
One of the most anticipated dates on the tour will come on July 3, 2027, when Chesney becomes the first concert headliner to perform at Nashville’s new Nissan Stadium.
“When we started to talk about touring next year, all I could think about was how good those stadiums feel… how loud, how fast, how much energy comes hurling at us,” Chesney said while announcing the tour.
The singer said fan reactions on social media helped convince him that 2027 should be dedicated entirely to stadium performances.
“I realized we should make next year all about the stadiums. So, we did,” Chesney said.
The tour will begin on April 24 in Tampa, Florida, and continue through major cities across the United States before concluding on August 28 in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
In addition to the Nashville show, the tour will stop in locations including Arlington, St. Louis, Minneapolis, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Chicago, Atlanta, Detroit and Charlotte.
The Nashville concert will help showcase the new Nissan Stadium, which is expected to open for events in February 2027. Major concerts and sporting events are scheduled to begin later in the spring.
Chesney said he’s excited to return to stadium stages and reconnect with fans through the music that has defined his career.
“It’s gonna be an amazing summer,” he said. “The Original Vibe Room Tour 2027 is gonna be all the things, but especially a lot of fun, a lot of music, and a lot of songs people have lived their lives to.”
Fans can register now for ticket access through Chesney’s website. Those who register will receive a code allowing participation in a presale that begins at 10 a.m. on Sept. 17.
The announcement marks one of the largest country music tours scheduled for 2027 and is expected to draw thousands of fans to Nashville for the Independence Day weekend performance.
