A Man is in Custody After Reportedly Threatening a School Shooting During a Meeting with School Administration in Strawberry Plains

A man is charged with threats of mass violence after he is accused of threatening a school shooting during a meeting with school administration.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office says it happened while 30-year-old Brandon Cole was meeting with Rush Strong School administration.

Investigators from the Criminal Investigation Division along with officers from the Knoxville Police Department went to Connex Street in Knoxville and arrested Cole.

Cole is currently being held at the justice center awaiting a bond hearing.
