Knoxville Mayor Indya Kincannon Seeks High School Students for Youth Council

Knoxville, TN (WOKI) Knoxville Mayor Indya Kincannon puts out the all-call for high school students to join the Mayor’s Youth Council.

Applications are now open for high school students in the City of Knoxville for the chance to join the council which was established in 2021.

City representatives say members will meet monthly to learn about local government structure and municipal services. They will also
play roles in the city’s policy and decision making processes.

The application deadline is May 31. Students chosen to serve on the Youth Council will start in August.
