Zionist Organization of America National President Morton Klein told Newsmax on Wednesday that President Donald Trump is “moving toward becoming the Winston Churchill of our era” with his proposal for the United States to take over the war-torn Gaza Strip.
“This is a brilliant and courageous act,” Klein said on “Newsline.” “He understands that a buffer zone between Gaza and Israel won’t work, because then you can still launch missiles and rockets. There have been 35,000 rockets launched into Israel from Gaza since 2005, since Hamas took over.”
Klein said many people don’t know that Gaza is actually “Jewish land” that was “given to the Jewish people as part of their Jewish state” according to the British Mandate of 1922 and the U.N. resolution of 1945.
