KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WOKI / WVLT) — The Knox County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that deputies are carrying out a court-ordered eviction at Tots & Teens Pediatrics on Danaher Drive.
According to the sheriff’s office, the operation is being conducted by the agency’s Civil Process Division, which is responsible for serving and enforcing lawful orders issued by the courts.
Officials emphasized that deputies are at the location solely to execute the court’s directive and maintain safety throughout the process.
The sheriff’s office also stated that any patient records, documents, or other sensitive materials removed as part of the eviction will be secured and handled appropriately in accordance with applicable procedures.
Authorities noted that the eviction stems from a civil court order. Because it is a civil matter, the Knox County Sheriff’s Office says it cannot provide additional details regarding the legal proceedings that led to the eviction.
According to Knox County Sheriff’s Office Communications Director Kimberly Glenn, the agency’s Civil Process Division carried out the eviction as directed by the court.
“The Knox County Sheriff’s Office is responsible for serving and enforcing lawful orders issued by the court,” Glenn said. “Deputies are on scene solely to carry out the court’s directive in a safe and orderly manner.”
Officials provided few details about the underlying legal matter, noting that the sheriff’s office is responsible only for enforcing the court’s order.
Glenn said any patient records, documents, or other sensitive materials removed during the eviction process will be secured and handled appropriately.
In a statement provided to media outlets, a spokesperson for Tennova Healthcare said North Knoxville Medical Center was recently informed that Tots & Teens Pediatrics was no longer operating at its location in Suite 130 of Physicians Plaza MOB A effective July 31, 2026.
According to Tennova, Welltower, Inc., the company that owns and operates the medical office building, discontinued the lease agreement with Tots & Teens Pediatrics.
The practice’s physician, Dr. Neil Feld, remains listed on Tennova’s physician directory website.
No additional information about patient services, relocation plans, or the legal proceedings surrounding the eviction was immediately available.
