Knoxville, TN (WOKI) The Vols may not be taking on the Gators until November, but the annual sparring between MEDIC Regional Blood Center and LifeSouth Community Blood Bank gets underway next week.

The two blood banks compete each year, looking to see whether Tennessee or Florida fans can donate more blood. This year, the drive runs from September 22 to September 26.

Those who donate blood, platelets or ALYX also have the chance to grab a special t-shirt and coupons for Papa John’s, Salsarita’s, Texas Roadhouse and Denton’s.
