Loudon Co, TN (WOKI / WVLT) – A drug bust in Loudon County results in more than 20 people facing felony drug charges.

The Ninth Judicial District Drug Task Force carried out a large-scale roundup on Thursday following months of investigations.  The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Lenoir City Police Department, Loudon Police Department, Loudon County Sheriff’s Office, Tennessee Highway Patrol and the National Guard Counterdrug Unit helped to make 15 arrests and recovered methamphetamine during the operation.

Loudon County has recorded 11 fatal overdoses this year.
