An elderly woman dies in a Cocke County crash.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol says it happened yesterday (Sunday) afternoon when a pickup truck on Highway 340 just before Long Creek Road ran off the road. The truck hit several trees. The crash killed the truck’s passenger 75-year-old Deborah Hommel and the driver, 75-year-old Ronnie Hommel was injured but his condition has not been released.
THP says there are no charges pending in the crash.
