The Knoxville Fire Department responding to a car fire which caused I-640 to close.
It happened Saturday evening, crews were called to I-640 South near Western Avenue.
KFD says there are no injuries and everyone made it out of the car safely.
All Southbound lanes reopened after crews put the fire out and no danger was perceived.
