First-year Ole Miss head coach and former UT coach Lane Kiffin was a guest on SportsTalk Monday afternoon on 99.1 The Sports Animal with John and Jimmy. Listen to that full interview below.

Kiffin touched on a lot of topics including why he chose Ole Miss, his two returning quarterbacks, if first-year coaches are at a disadvantage with the current status of sports, his very clear stance on the discussed scenario of college football without fans, staying in contact with the Manning family the job Jeremy Pruitt has done so far at Tennessee and much more.

Here’s what Pruitt said about Pruitt:

“Done a great job. Really glad to see it pay off. He’s one of the hardest working guys in the country. It takes a little time. I know everything wasn’t perfect at first. It was good to see the end of last season end so well and them play so well. I told him when I saw him, we played somebody or I had seen his team play someone we were playing or something in the last two years. But, what a difference in just a year in what he had done changing the roster and getting players better. The future is very bright there.”
