Exciting, quality high school football in East Tennessee is back! Our three Cumulus Broadcasting stations will once again bring you the best top-to-bottom coverage you will find anywhere, in any market!

We’ll have three live play-by-play football broadcasts each week throughout the season including our Game of The Week on AM 990, all Catholic games on FM 99.1 and all Hardin Valley Academy games on NewsTalk 98.7!

Games kickoff at 7:30pm ET! Listen to our KOC Game of the Week with different teams and great match-ups on AM 990 with play-by-play-announcer Vince Ferrara and color analyst Will West. Once again the Knoxville Catholic Fighting Irish will be broadcast all season on FM 99.1 with their longtime play-by-play voice John Wilkerson and game analyst Rob Demastus. Also, debuting this season, you can listen to every Hardin Valley Academy Hawks game presented by Volunteer Pharmacy broadcast live by the team of Joel Silverberg and Eric Cain.

Starting at 7pm on AM 990 and NewsTalk 98.7, we’ll preview all the big prep football games of the night on our stations and throughout East Tennessee on the High & Pickett Oral Surgery Pre-Game Show. We’ll bring you scoreboard updates of other match-ups in the area during our game broadcasts. Then, the halftime show keeps you abreast of all the scores from the area, recaps the first half of your game and gets you ready for the 2nd half. After each game, we’ll name our players of the game and then get you back to the studio for a complete East Tennessee prep football post-game scoreboard show with analysis and a look-ahead to next week. Brian Akins anchors our studio coverage. There will not be pre-game airing on FM 99.1 which will be carrying Tennessee Sports Night from 7-7:30pm. The Catholic games will follow at 7:30pm. There will only be postgame coverage on FM 99.1 and AM 990.
