COCKE COUNTY, Tenn. (WOKI / WVLT)— The Cocke County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help after approximately 1,700 feet of AT&T cable was cut and stolen in Cocke County.
Investigators say the theft occurred along Trail Hollow Road near Barnes Hollow Road sometime between June 23 and June 25. Authorities believe the cable was intentionally cut before being removed from the area.
As part of the investigation, detectives are asking residents who live near Trail Hollow Road, between Barnes Hollow Road and South Highway 32, to report any AT&T service outages they may have experienced during that time period. Officials are seeking approximate dates and times of any disruptions that could help narrow down when the theft occurred.
