LOUISVILLE, Tenn. (WOKI / WVLT) — A man is facing a serious charge after a violent incident at a Blount County horse ranch.
According to the Blount County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a call about a stabbing around 11:20 p.m. on May 20 at a ranch in Louisville.
Investigators say 23-year-old Abdiel Gonzalez allegedly cut the victim’s throat before leaving the scene.
The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment. Officials have not released an update on the victim’s condition.
Deputies say Gonzalez later returned to the ranch, where he was taken into custody without further incident.
He is now charged with aggravated assault and is being held on a $100,000 bond.
Authorities have not released details about what led up to the incident.
