Knoxville, TN (WOKI) – A motorcyclist has died following a crash at a busy North Knoxville intersection.
Knoxville Police say officers responded around 7:20 a.m. on May 15, 2026, to a collision involving a motorcycle and a Subaru at Tazewell Pike and Old Broadway.
Investigators say the Subaru was traveling south on Tazewell Pike, while the motorcycle was heading north on Old Broadway when the two vehicles collided in the intersection. Officials say the motorcyclist died from injuries sustained in the crash.
The circumstances leading up to the collision remain under investigation.
KPD crash reconstruction personnel are continuing to review the case.
