Authorities in Jefferson County are Searching for a Man Suspected of Setting a House on Fire

Jefferson County, TN (WOKI) – Authorities in Jefferson County are searching for a man accused of setting a home on fire in Dandridge.

Deputies say the blaze broke out just after 5:30 Tuesday morning on Gunter Hollow Road.

An eyewitness reported seeing 45-year-old Jeremy Ball ignite the home before leaving on a motorcycle, possibly heading toward Newport.

The house is a total loss, with additional damage to a camper and two vehicles. Ball is wanted for aggravated arson. Anyone with information is urged to call E-911 or the sheriff’s office.
