BEAN STATION, Tenn. (WVLT) – The Bean Station Police Department said a Knoxville man is facing dozens of charged following a child sexual abuse investigation.
According to Chief John McMurray, a report was made with BSPD on Feb. 10 alleging multiple incidents that happened between October 2020 and August 2023 involving a victim between the ages of 15 and 18 during the time of the alleged crimes.
On Monday, McMurray said 48-year-old Bryan L. Cash, of Knoxville, was arrested and charged with one count of continuous sexual abuse of a child, one count of especially aggravated exploitation of a minor and 48 counts of statutory rape by an authority figure.

“The Bean Station Police Department considers crimes against children a top priority,” McMurray said. “These cases are thoroughly investigated to ensure those who are responsible will be held accountable. We are committed to supporting the victim and their family through this process.”
Because of the sensitivity surrounding the case, McMurray said additional information will not be released.
