KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – University of Tennessee men’s basketball player Juke Harris received his second preseason all-conference accolade, as revealed Thursday morning by the SEC office.
Harris was named a Preseason Second Team All-SEC designee based off voting by the league’s 16 head coaches. He was previously selected as a Preseason First Team All-SEC choice by the media.
In addition, Harris was announced Wednesday as a Julius Erving Award Top 20 Preseason Watch List member. He previously garnered Blue Ribbon Yearbook Preseason Third Team All-America recognition, as well.
Harris, fellow second-team honoree Milan Momcilovic of Kentucky, third-team choice P.J. Haggerty of Texas A&M and third-team pick David Punch of Texas are the only first-year transfers who made the coaches’ list.
A junior guard from Salisbury, N.C., Harris is coming off a dazzling campaign at Wake Forest, for whom he averaged 21.4 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.3 steals in 35.1 minutes per game last year.
Harris earned Second Team All-ACC, ACC Most Improved Player and NABC First Team All-South Atlantic District plaudits in 2025-26. He became the 30th player—32nd occurrence—in ACC history to amass 750 points in a single campaign, including just the second Demon Deacon.
A 6-foot-7, 205-pounder, Harris scored double-digit points in all 35 games last year, good for the co-third-highest total in Division I. He dropped 20-plus points in 20 outings, tied for No. 11 nationally.
The first regular season action for Harris and the Volunteers comes Nov. 3 at 6 p.m. with a home game against Wofford, live on SEC Network from Food City Center.
