PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (WOKI) — Dollywood Parks & Resorts is preparing for one of its busiest times of the year and is looking to fill a wide range of positions through a series of hiring events scheduled for late July and throughout August.
Company officials announced Tuesday that hiring events will begin on Thursday, July 30, with additional events planned every Thursday during August as Dollywood gears up for its popular fall festivals and holiday celebrations.
Most hiring events will take place from 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Sevierville Civic Center, located at 200 Gary Wade Boulevard. An additional hiring event is planned for Saturday, Aug. 8, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort and Spa.
Officials say many applicants are hired on the spot and encouraged prospective employees to attend early for the widest selection of available jobs.
Openings are available throughout Dollywood’s family of properties, including Dollywood theme park, Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort and Spa, and Dollywood’s HeartSong Lodge & Resort.
Positions range from seasonal and part-time jobs to full-time career opportunities. Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
Available jobs include ride operations, ticketing, transportation, merchandise, culinary services, housekeeping, front desk operations, bell and valet services, grounds maintenance and other hospitality-related positions.
Dollywood leaders say the company continues to attract employees with a benefits package that includes 100% free tuition through Herschend’s GROW U program, complimentary meals during shifts, healthcare resources, discounted admissions to regional attractions and free Dollywood admission for family and friends.
Qualified full-time employees may also receive medical, dental and vision insurance benefits. The company also helps cover a portion of childcare expenses for eligible employees and offers leadership development programs, including an apprenticeship partnership with Walters State Community College.
The hiring effort comes as Dollywood continues to receive national recognition as both a workplace and tourist destination. Earlier this month, TIME named Dollywood among the nation’s top privately held companies. The company also recently earned recognition on Newsweek’s lists of America’s Greatest Workplaces and Tennessee’s Greatest Workplaces.
Job seekers can view openings and apply online at dollywoodjobs.com. Technical assistance will be available during hiring events for applicants who need help completing the application process.
Company officials say additional hiring events and job opportunities will be posted throughout the remainder of 2026.
