PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (WOKI) — Dollywood Parks & Resorts has been ranked among the top tourist attractions in the country for guest value, according to a new study released by digital platform Achieve.
The study placed Dollywood at number two nationwide, tied with Kennedy Space Center in Florida, based on Tripadvisor reviews focused on pricing and overall value.
Researchers said Dollywood stood out for combining thrilling rides, live entertainment, immersive theming and the park’s signature Smoky Mountain hospitality while remaining an affordable destination for families.
The study highlighted Dollywood’s ability to provide a well-rounded guest experience that delivers strong value for the cost of admission.
Visitors also benefit from the park’s seasonal festivals and special events. Dollywood’s current Smoky Mountain Summer Celebration features additional entertainment, including the Gazillion Bubble Show-Evolution, The Perondi’s Stunt Dog Experience, and nightly fireworks and drone shows.
Park officials say value extends beyond admission through season pass options, combination tickets with Dollywood’s Splash Country, and guest perks offered at Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort and Spa and HeartSong Lodge & Resort.
The company has also received several workplace and customer service recognitions in recent years, including honors from Newsweek, TIME and Forbes.
The Achieve study ranked Alcatraz Island Tours in California first overall. Other attractions in the top ten include Universal Studios Hollywood, the Empire State Building, Graceland, the Biltmore Estate and Walt Disney World Resort.
