KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. (WOKI / WVLT) — The Knox County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a serious two-vehicle crash that left two people critically injured Monday afternoon.
According to the Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit, deputies responded to the crash at approximately 4:10 p.m. in the 400 block of East Beaver Creek Road.
Authorities said the driver and passenger of one vehicle were transported to the University of Tennessee Medical Center in critical condition.
The driver of the second vehicle was also taken to the hospital and was reported to be in stable condition.
Investigators have not released the identities of those involved, and details about what led to the crash have not yet been made public.
The investigation remains in its early stages.
