Tom Homan, President-elect Donald Trump’s point man on mass deportations and border security, told Newsmax on Thursday that other countries will be honest brokers in helping the administration address the crisis because Trump will be in the White House.

“They are because President Trump is coming in and he’s a strong president,” Homan told “Finnerty.” “Look, Mexico didn’t want to do [the] ‘Remain in Mexico’ program. They didn’t want to put military on [their northern border]. President Trump is a strong president. He got them to do it because he’s putting America first.

“Canada has already come to the table. They’ve reached out to me. Panama has reached out to me. El Salvador has reached out to me. These countries are already reaching out.
