$5 Admission Offer Available for Sevier County Residents and Workers During Smoky Mountain Christmas
PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (WOKI) – Dollywood is once again giving Sevier County residents and employees a chance to enjoy its award-winning Smoky Mountain Christmas festival while supporting local charitable organizations.
The annual Sevier County Days event will take place on operating days from November 6 through November 15, allowing anyone who lives or works in Sevier County to visit Dollywood for a $5 donation. Proceeds from the event benefit a variety of Sevier County nonprofit organizations.
Dollywood officials say the program is designed to give back to the community that helps make the Smoky Mountains one of the nation’s most popular tourism destinations.
Carol Agee, Dollywood’s Community Affairs and Philanthropy Manager, said local residents and nonprofit organizations are an important part of what makes the area special.
As the holiday season approaches, Agee said many charitable organizations face increased demand for assistance and resources. Sevier County Days helps provide additional support while also encouraging community members to connect with organizations serving local families.
Nearly $2 Million Raised Since Program Began
Since Sevier County Days launched in 2008, Dollywood Parks & Resorts has contributed nearly $2 million to local nonprofit organizations.
Among the organizations that have benefited from the program are:
- Sevier County Food Ministries
- Safe Harbor Child Advocacy Center
- Safe Space
- Mountain Hope Good Shepherd Clinic
- Smoky Mountain Area Rescue Ministries
Dollywood also encourages residents to support local charities through volunteer service opportunities throughout the year.
How to Participate
Sevier County residents must present a valid state- or federally-issued photo ID showing a qualifying Sevier County ZIP code at designated Dollywood ticket booths.
Those who work in Sevier County but live elsewhere must provide proof of employment, such as a paycheck stub, along with a matching photo ID.
Bonus Season Pass Opportunity
Guests who participate in Sevier County Days can apply the full value of their $5 donation ticket toward the purchase of a 2027 Dollywood Season Pass.
