Knoxville, TN (WOKI) – The Knox County Emergency Communications District received a 911 call reporting that the Copper Cellar restaurant was on fire.
On the arrival of the first Knoxville Fire Department unit, smoke was observed coming from the rear of the building. The KFD fire crew responded swiftly, gaining entry and containing a small fire in a utility closet within minutes. This prompt action minimized potential damage and demonstrated the department’s efficiency.
No injuries reported. Knoxville Fire Department investigators are on scene working to determine a cause.
