Knoxville, TN (WOKI) – Knoxville Police has taken an aggravated assault suspect into custody.
Officers took 23-year-old Tristan Weatherspoon into custody Tuesday at an apartment on Cassell Valley Way. He is wanted from an assault that happened early Saturday morning in the parking lot of Peyton’s Place on Schubert Road.
A 19-year-old woman was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries sustained in the assault.
The investigation into the assault continues and additional charges are possible.
