UPDATE 2/13/26 10:30 A.M. (WOKI) – Firefighters and law enforcement officers responded to an early morning fire today, Friday, February 13, 2026, at Skyland Ranch, 1620 Parkway in Sevierville.
The fire was reported at approximately 2:20 a.m. by Sevierville and Gatlinburg Police Officers who were nearby and saw the flames. Other passersby also reported seeing the blaze. When City of Sevierville Fire Department firefighters arrived minutes later, two large barns on the property were fully engulfed. Several other nearby small structures were also damaged.
The Sevierville and Gatlinburg Police Officers, as well as a Pigeon Forge Police Officer who responded, worked to move some of the barn animals to safety. No first responders or animals were injured during the fire.
Firefighters contained the fires at the two barns and concentrated on the surrounding buildings while protecting the animals. The Tennessee Department of Forestry responded and worked to mitigate the woodland fire threat. Fire crews will remain on scene throughout the day today to continue overhauling the fire and to prevent any further fire spreading to the woodland.
The Pigeon Forge Police Department provided assistance answering law enforcement calls in the south end of Sevierville while SPD officers were busy at the fire scene.
Numerous agencies responded and provided assistance to the Sevierville Fire Department, including the Pigeon Forge Fire Department, Gatlinburg Fire Department, Sevier County Fire Department, Walden’s Creek Fire Department, Seymour Fire Department and the Tennessee Department of Forestry.
The Sevier County Electric System, Sevier County Utility District, and Sevierville Water and Sewer Department responded to mitigate their utility service.
SFD and SPD extend their thanks to all of these agencies, firefighters, and police officers for their assistance. Also, thanks to IHOP and Hardies for combining to provide coffee, breakfast, and facilities for first responders.
ORIGINAL STORY: Sevier County, TN (WOKI / WVLT) – A fire at Skyland Ranch in Sevier county has destroyed two barns and crews are expected to remain on the scene until 9 this (Friday) morning.
Crews called to the scene around 2 o’clock this (Friday) morning.
Chief Matt Henderson with the Sevierville Fire Department says they faced water issues on the mountain but that no injuries to humans or animals has been reported.
Two Sevierville Police officers were able make their way up the mountain as the fire was burning and able to get the animals to safety.
No word yet on how operations will be affected at the business today (Friday).
