KNOXVILLE, TN (WOKI) — The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) has partnered with students from the Tennessee High School Art Club to paint a locally inspired design onto a snowplow blade and will unveil the finished work later this week.
Tennessee High students spent the past few weeks painting their design onto the plow blade and will join TDOT staff on Thursday to reveal their hard work for the first time. In the event of inclement weather this winter, the snowplow blade will be used to clear snow and ice from interstate lanes and state routes across Sullivan County.
