Knoxville, TN (WOKI) – An investigation is underway following a fire in a detached garage which spread this morning (Tues).
The homeowner called 911 and said the fire was moving toward the house in the 1300 block of North Briscoe Circle.
When crews arrived, they say the garage fully involved in fire and said the house was catching on fire.
Crews remained on the scene checking for hotspots.
There were 2 adults and 1 child living as well as a cat and dog who all made it out safe.
The garage is a total a loss, the house suffered some fire, significant water and smoke damage.
