Newport, TN (WOKI) – One of Newport’s favorite traditions will kick-off in early December.
The annual Newport Christmas Parade will be taking place on December 5 at 6:30 p.m. This year’s theme will be “Lights, Camera, Christmas!”
The Cocke County Partnership says those in attendance can expect show-stopping floats decked out in holiday glamour, twinkling lights and a touch of Hollywood magic.
The parade will begin at Debbie’s Drive-In, head down Broadway through downtown Newport and end at Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church.
Businesses and groups who would like to participate in the parade can go to https://www.newportcockecountychamber.com/events/christmas-parade/ to register. The deadline is November 25 at 4 p.m.
