KNOXVILLE, TN (WOKI / WVLT) – Health Center is opening a new, larger location tomorrow (Thursday) to serve more patients and offer new health services.
The clinic is a nonprofit organization providing medical, dental, mental health care, prescription assistance and more to Knoxville’s working uninsured or underserved population.
InterFaith currently operates from four separate buildings. The new facility will allow the healthcare provider to unite all services under one roof in a new 25,000-square-foot facility designed to double patient capacity from 2,000 to 4,000 within three years and triple it to 6,000 within five. The ribbon-cutting will be at 4 p.m.
The new location, at 7005 Middlebrook Pike, will enhance mental health services and their will be specialized rooms for dermatology, ophthalmology, ultrasound, X-ray and gynecology.
Dental care and wellness education will also get a revamp in the new facility.
