Knoxville, TN (WOKI/WVLT) – Tennessee Vice Chancellor and Athletics Director Danny White wants to make Neyland Stadium bigger and wants some big changes to make it easier to get in and out of the iconic stadium.
White put up a lengthy post on X outlining plans for expanding Neyland’s capacity after the 27th consecutive sold out game.
White says they are actively exploring the viability of expanding the north end zone.
The announcement comes after a lengthy period of renovations at Neyland Stadium, which saw its overall capacity decrease by about 500 seats.
Tennessee next faces New Mexico State Saturday at 4:15 p.m.
