Knoxville, TN (WOKI) – The Knoxville Police Department is attempting to find 23-year-old Tristan Weatherspoon following a shooting that happened last night on Fair Drive.
At just before midnight on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, KPD officers responded to the 1800 block of Fair Drive, where multiple gunshots had been fired at a home. A woman and two children, ages 7 and 5, were inside the home at the time of the shooting. Thankfully, nobody was struck or injured by the gunfire.
Investigation at the scene revealed that Weatherspoon fired shots at the home in retaliation, targeting a man who was not in the home at the time of the shooting.
While officers were at the scene of the shooting, a nearby officer located a car traveling on Broadway that was being driven by Weatherspoon and attempted to stop it. The vehicle did not stop and officers initiated a brief pursuit, but Weatherspoon was able to elude capture.
Warrants have since been placed on file charging Weatherspoon with three counts of aggravated assault and one count of felony evading arrest.
