Roane Co, TN (WOKI / WVLT) – The arraignment for Brian Frost, the now-former Harriman City Councilman charged in connection to the shooting death of a teen at his detail shop, has been waived.
It comes after Frost turned himself in after failing to appear for his first court date.
He is charged alongside his son Bradley Frost, a former Harriman firefighter, and Tony Williams.
Frost and his son both resigned their positions after being charged.
Brian Frost: Tampering with evidence, coercion of a witness and a single count of official misconduct.
Bradley Frost: 14 counts of furnishing alcohol to minors, four counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and one count of possession of a firearm while under the influence.
The shooting happened at a party being thrown at the detail shop at the end of August. Investigators have said an argument broke out, and 17-year-old Riley Pawlick was charged in the murder of 18-year-old Holden Howse after a gun went off, hitting Howse in the head.
Brian Frost is next expected in court on February 23, 2026 for a plea settlement deadline.
