Knoxville, TN (WOKI / KPD) – The suspect from a hit-and-run that injured two pedestrians on Concord Street following a University of Tennessee football game has been identified and taken into custody.
On Tuesday, Louis Milton Boyatt, DOB 3/20/47, was taken into custody in Dalton, Georgia. After extensive investigation by KPD hit-and-run investigators, Boyatt was identified as the suspect from the hit-and-run that happened at just before 9 p.m. on Saturday, October 11 in the 600 block of Concord Street. A 45-year-old woman and 14-year-old girl were injured in the collision.
Boyatt has been charged with two counts of reckless aggravated vehicular assault and one count of leaving the scene of an accident.
Boyatt will be extradited back to Knoxville in the coming days.
