Seymour, TN (WOKI) Two people have been charged in a crash in Seymour that injured a Sevier County Sheriff’s Office deputy.
A report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol indicates that 19-year-old Dalton Edwards was driving a Chevrolet Silverado on October 3rd when he hit 27-year-old Tatum McDonald whose Ford Mustang was stopped to turn left on Boyds Creek Highway.
THP says after hitting the Mustang, Edwards veered into oncoming traffic and hit a Ford Explorer being driven by Deputy Christopher Rush.
Rush was taken to LeConte Medical Center but was not seriously injured.
Edwards was charged for failing to exercise due care and McDonald for financial responsibility laws.
